Principal Consultant and Business Director at ASK, Elaine Wilson is an experienced organisation and management development specialist with over 17 years’ experience in management and consultancy roles. Most of her work has been in the private sector but in recent years she has been working more frequently in the public sector. Elaine has extensive experience in the design and delivery of behavioural change interventions for blue chip companies on a wide range of management development and assessment assignments, as well as major organisational change programmes and 360 degree feedback. Her skills lie in working with individuals or groups to drive real behaviour change and deliver improved personal and business results for her clients.

Don’t jump to conclusions – pause to reflect; instant responses are rarely required. I have years of experience to thank for this lesson.

Be yourself – accept and be proud of who you are.

There is no single thing – I still have so much to learn.

Leaving plenty of things to laugh about.

What is the most surprising thing you’ve ever discovered about yourself?
I can be quite introvert at times.

What one thing do you think every organisation would most benefit from doing, or doing differently?
Encourage the art of conversation – face to face, open, honest and constructive.

What is your worst habit?
Over analysing – especially when completing questionnaires.
